Advanced Medical Scheme Broker Training

The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) will be hosting a one day consultative “Advanced Broker Training workshop for accredited healthcare brokers.

This initiative is in response to a request by healthcare brokers who attended the induction workshops, asking for more advanced broker training.

The workshops will be hosted in Port Elizabeth, Durban and Cape Town at a cost of R800.00 per person. The topics for the workshops are:

  1. Scheme financial soundness
  2. Scheme governance
  3. PMB definition project
  4. Healthcare Costs
  5. Overview of Non-healthcare Costs
  6. Review of the CMS appeal cases and Amendments to the FAIS Act
