The time spent in virtual meetings has increased over the last three months. Although this has been because of the pandemic and lockdown rules, this new way of communicating is here to stay. As a result, it is important to make sure you project confidence and credibility in virtual communication.

● | Use your voice to engage your listener: Speak with a clear and confident voice. |
● | Position yourself right: Position yourself so that you are centred in the frame and visible from just below your shoulders to the top of your head. |
● | Take advantage of non-verbal communication: Nod, smile, and give direct gestures such as a thumbs up when appropriate. |
● | Watch your posture: Maintain a strong, confident posture throughout any virtual meeting or presentation. |
