To mark the occasion, we produced a video that tells the Moonstone Compliance story: how it all started, how we have grown, and where we aim to be in the next 20 years.

As chief operating officer Billy Seyffert put it in a recent letter to clients, from the outset, Moonstone Compliance understood that a one-size-fits-all approach to compliance, where the focus is on monitoring rather than advice, is the wrong approach.
“Consequently, we’ve always viewed our service to our clients as a partnership and have allowed each client, in conjunction with its compliance officer, a lot of freedom to determine its compliance agenda and priorities. This, together with a fantastic team of compliance professionals and support staff, has been the secret of our success. The longevity of our client relationships is certainly a testament to a winning formula,” Seyffert said.
The story of Moonstone Compliance is, in a sense, also the story of our clients, who have had to keep adapting rapidly since the 2004, when the FAIS Act inaugurated a series of regulatory changes that have irrevocably remade the financial services industry.
