The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) is preparing to launch its new registration and reporting system on Monday, 25 April 2016. To date, it has migrated the registration data of all institutions currently registered with the FIC onto the new platform.
From Wednesday, 30 March 2016 it started issuing institutions with new Organisation Identity Numbers (Org ID) via email. The Org ID will be found in the subject line of the email, and must be used to login on the new platform as it replaces the existing Accountable and/or Reporting Institution registration number.
The Section 43 Compliance Officer (S43CO), as first user of the institution, is required to login by using the issued Org ID to add his/her details on the new platform and thereafter to update the details of the institution following the step by step guide.”
The FIC will be sending further communication relating to goAML implementation as we move closer to the go-live date of 25 April 2016. All affected parties are urged to consult the FIC website (www.fic.gov.za) regularly for further information on the new system.
