Students who achieved outstanding marks recommend enrolling for the ACFP at MBSE.
“I had a great experience studying for the ACFP. MBSE is very professional, and the lecturers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, which goes a long way when providing high a quality of teaching,” said Etienne Janse van Rensburg, who was one of the top students in the ACFP exams in 2022, as well as in 2021, when he did the Higher Certificate in Wealth Management (HCWM).
Janse van Rensburg, who is an independent financial adviser, said the HCWM and the ACFP “are extremely well structured and professionally run, making it manageable and a pleasure to work though, even while working full time”.
Another of 2022’s top students, Rigardt Maartens, said the ACFP met his expectations, which were to get a better idea of the theoretical side of financial planning, so he could improve his knowledge and understanding of the industry.
“I’ve learned that the theoretical part of financial planning is key, and it enables you to do an in-depth analysis of a client’s needs and goals, taking into account all the necessary steps and processes,” said Maartens, a stockbroker and portfolio manager.
He said the ACFP has enabled him to advise clients with greater confidence, as he is better informed.
