Inseta has extended the deadline for companies in the insurance and related sectors to apply for discretionary grant funding for 2022/23 from 31 March to 13 April.
Applications will be accepted at Inseta’s discretion and are subject to the following conditions:
- A company’s core business must fall within Inseta’s scope.
- Applicants must have submitted a Workplace Skills Plan and an Annual Training Report for the 2022/23 financial year.
- Applications must be made online only at inseta.org.za.
- Allocations will be made subject to the availability of funding.
- Applicants must be able to start programmes no later than 2 February 2023.
- First-time applicants will be subject to a site visit, and if approved, will be awarded “conservative numbers” until a track record is established.
- An applicant’s track record of successfully implementing Inseta-funded learning programmes will be considered when allocating funding.
- Inseta will verify an applicant’s capacity to deliver the training and/or host learners before awarding funding.
- Failure to submit documentation or start programmes within the stipulated timelines will result in the withdrawal of funding.
- Employers may apply for funding for learners on only one of the learning programmes listed below in a financial year:
