The curtain has come down on yet another successful Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) Professionals Convention this week.
Held on 14 and 15 November at the Sandton Convention Centre, this year’s convention drew 1 200 face-to-face and 780 online conference goers as well as over 350 exhibitors. Together they had the opportunity to share in the experiences and insights of the 27 local and international speakers and guests.
Adopting the theme “Back to the Future”, the popular event highlighted the importance of looking back at where we were before the global lockdown in 2020, yet moving forward to embrace change, innovation, and growth. In an interview with Moonstone editor Mark Bechard, Kirsty Scully, the chairperson of the FPI, and Lelané Bezuidenhout, the chief executive of the FPI, shared their key take-aways from the two-day convention.
