Moonstone Compliance and Risk management would like to take this opportunity to inform our valued clients that as from Monday, 11 May 2020, our physical office will be reopening. A number of our clients by virtue of their business models and the services they perform are classified as performing essential financial services and have been permitted to resume or partially resume operations under the Level 4 Lockdown regulations published on 29 April. Moonstone Compliance provides professional services supporting these essential financial services.
We will be functioning strictly within the allowed parameters of the regulations and have ensured that all the necessary measures such as workplace risk assessments, social distancing measures, employee screening and workplace plans are in place. We will also maintain only a skeleton staff at our offices and limit staff to those who are essential to allow us to support our clients performing essential financial services.
Even though the office and the switchboard will be open, we urge our clients to continue to contact their respective compliance officers directly by phone, email or video conferencing – there will be persons available to provide any backup support when and if required.
We would also like to remind all our clients that the primary rule of the Level 4 Lockdown regulations are that staff that can work from home, must work from home.
Please be assured that irrespective of the skeleton staffing of our offices, Moonstone Compliance remains completely operational and will continue to provide our clients with the best possible guidance and support.
