In December, the FSB announced an on-line facility which allows FSPs to verify the RE status of Key individuals and Representatives.
The circular provides step-by-step guidelines on how to access the information pertaining to the FSP. Please note that only an approved key individual or compliance officer will be able to register and have access to the online program.
Once you have followed all the required steps, you will be given access to a spreadsheet which looks like this:
The following descriptions may appear in the last column of the spreadsheet:
| Description | Meaning |
| Deadline was xxxx | The individual should have written by the deadline indicated |
| Enrolled for | The individual is registered with one of the examination bodies to write the examination |
| Exemption granted | An exemption was granted / is applicable to the individual |
| No products | No DOFA (date of first appointment) dates applicable to products |
| Product exemption | An exemption was granted / is applicable to the individual based on the products the person is registered for |
| Re-write by xxxx | The individual should have re-written by the deadline indicated |
| Should write by xxxx | The individual should write by the dated indicated |
| Should have written on approval | The individual should have written when he/she was approved |
This information will also assist you in ensuring that your FSP’s information is reflected correctly in the records of the FSB.
