- According to their website, Leselo will withdraw as an examination body from the end of March this year. All queries related to REs written at Leselo from 1 October 2010 to 31 March 2013 can still be directed to them. Moonstone and the fpi are now the only two remaining regulatory examination bodies.
- There are all kinds of figures floating around in the media regarding suspensions. A media release by the FSB, published on their website yesterday, states that 129 sole proprietors received suspension letters for not writing the regulatory exams. Please click here to download a copy.

The exam fees are set by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority. The current fee to write the exam is R1 226 (VAT inclusive) per examination per candidate.

Do you have any contact details for Leselo, I also did my RE exam through them in 2011 and trying to obtain a duplicate certificate.
A lot of people are querying the lost of they RE certificates which was obtained through the Leselo examination body which no longer exist. Where do you get a copy even if you have to pay for it .Most of the answers just stipulates if you obtained it through moonstone, which clearly we did not we obtained it through Leselo which no longer exist.
We are uncertain as to where candidates would be able to get a copy of a previously obtained RE certificate which was written through Leselo. Moonstone would not be able to provide a copy as we do not have information of the previous examination bodies. The candidate can approach the FSCA to see whether they would be able to provide a copy of their certificate and/or confirmation that the person has passed the Regulatory Examination.
