Softbyte Computers recently developed a software program for UNISA to assist tax and accounting students, and is now offering our readers the same student version of WinTax software at no cost.
Tony de Wijn of Softbyte writes:
“The software not only allows the user to do tax assessments but also calculations for CGT transactions, retirement Lump Sums, car/travel claims, medical tax-credits etc. The “Student” version does have certain restrictions but anyone interested in tax or finance will find it extremely useful.”
In addition, this version of WinTax offers access to gratis video tax lectures accredited by SAIT.
