Two qualifications that will boost your career in financial planning

Moonstone Business School of Excellence’s Advanced Certificate in Financial Planning (ACFP) and Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning will give graduates an edge in the financial planning industry.

The ACFP (NQF 6) will give students the skills and knowledge to provide a holistic financial planning service and will lay the foundation for further specialist studies in this field.

The qualification also fulfils the education requirement for the “Financial Services Advisor” designation awarded by the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (NQF 8) is designed to provide advanced financial planning skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values in the areas of financial management, asset management, investment planning, risk management, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and ethics.

The qualification is approved by the FSCA as a recognised qualification for FAIS Fit and Proper purposes in all product sub-categories for all categories of FSP.

On completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, students will be eligible to apply to the FPI to write the FPI Professional Competency Examination for the Certified Financial Planner® designation. Career opportunities with this qualification include CFP®, professional wealth manager, professional financial planner, and entrepreneur.
